Kenyan artist Fred Abuga has shown his exceptional talent since a young age, earning the title ''chief artist'' from his classmates and teachers in college. Since dedicating himself to his art, Fred won the most promising male artist title in 2006 from the French Cultural Centre and German Institute juried exhibition in Nairobi, Kenya. He has participated in numerous exhibitions locally and abroad: Italy, Denmark, and Israel. Today, Fred's creations are a presentation of realism in both canvas paintings and in mixed media constructions. He is influenced by day-to-day life situations and scenarios and seeks to capture many of these in his work. Fred holds a diploma in Fine Art from the Buruburu Institute of Fine Arts (BIFA), Nairobi, Kenya.
